First to Register

First Bike Week event for Edinburgh to be registered at the UK Bike Week web site is a brand new charity ride from the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum at Lathalmond through Dunfermline (the old Capital of Scotland) to Ocean Terminal in Edinburgh.

The Two Capitals is being organised by Allan Prentice and the Rotary Club of West Fife. Its aim is “to raise funds to buy cycling equipment for schools to improve health, encourage cycling to school and reduce global warming.”

Entrance fee is expected to be £18 (which includes return transport), participants are also being asked to raise sponsorship money.
